The company data you enter are confidential and are not accessible to third parties. Fenavian does not have access to these data either. A non-disclosure agreement is available on request.
To help build a picture of where the sector stands, you can choose to share your data with your federation. The federation can then anonymise and aggregate these data to produce a useful sector report.
The Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME) was developed by EFRAG in December 2024 for non-listed SMEs, including micro-enterprises, that wish to report voluntarily on their sustainability efforts. You can download the original standard here.
With the Omnibus Directive of early 2026, the standard was enshrined in law through a regulation, which has been in force since 24 September 2026. It now applies to all companies with an average of no more than 1,000 employees, and a number of questions are optional for companies with 10 employees or fewer. As its scope extends well beyond SMEs, it is no longer referred to as the VSME, but as the VS (Voluntary Standard). You can consult the updated version here.
Important: from the 2027 financial year onwards, large companies may not request more data from smaller companies for their sustainability reporting than specified in this standard.
